A Chinese hand made dressing screen. Four porcelain tiles mounted on a hardwood frame. Each tile is hand painted and features a woman on one side and a floral motif on the other. These items were made as decorative furnishing for doll houses.

(the top decorations have broken, but it is an old piece after all)

An African ash tray cared out of a single block of mahogany. Features three elephants on the side. Most of the similar ashtrays are far more detailed and ornate, which makes them feel more "fake" or factory made.

Akira Kurosawa's only film made outside Japan and which enabled him to continue making films late in his career. The Soviet union financed this film set in Siberia and it tells the tale of an older man hunting tigers. Sadly, this particular DVD has bad picture quality, as it's a video transfer.

I happened to find a stack of vintage Heavy Metal mags. They feature some wicked artwork!
